What We Do

CRISSP works towards establishing a client centered model by utilizing a system strengthening approach across the whole continuum of facility and community based treatment and prevention services. This is in line with the United States President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) strategy, through CDC’s Division of Global HIV/AIDS Kenya (DGHA) which strategy places emphasis on integration, collaboration to increase efficiency, operations research and relevance to the broader health and development context. Project activities are entwined around Service Delivery, Strategic Information Management; Governance and Leadership with the aim of attaining high quality sustainable care.

CRISS Project continues to assist the Kiambu and Kirinyaga counties in developing and implementing HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment programs; providing other HIV clinical services; conducting HIV surveillance and research; monitoring and evaluating HIV programs; building capacity among the health workforce; and strengthening laboratory and other health systems.
