About Us

The Central Province Response Integration Strengthening and Sustainability Project (CRISSP) is a 5 - year ongoing project (October 2011 – September 2017). CRISSP is a partnership of the United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), University of Nairobi School of Medicine (UONSOM), the University of Maryland Baltimore School of Medicine (UMBSOM), Future Group International (FG) and the Ministry of Health (MOH) Kenya through the Provincial and County Health Management Teams (P/CHMTs) as well Hospital and Health Center Management Teams (H/HCMTs). CRISSP’s overall goal is to provide support to target health facilities and communities in Kiambu and Kirinyaga Counties to achieve and maintain universal access to HIV prevention, care and treatment services that meet and surpasses national and international standards by increasing the capacity of the public health response in through a systems strengthening approach.
